A Holocaust Survivor's View on Islam

This article was emailed to me, and I find it rather compelling. I have his name and accomplishments and people I know may ask me for them, but I have chosen not to reveal his full name and achievements on this blog. Why not? Because I understand how the fatwa's and the crazies work, and I refuse to be a part of him becoming a target for idiots.

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march... It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

With that said, please try to conceive of all this man has lived through. Put yourself in his shoes if only in your imagination. Would you be able to pull yourself yourself together after seeing some of your family members butchered? Starved?

I can't even imagine it, I must admit. How awfully cruel people can be. This is what we are facing today. I know many Muslims who are peaceful, and they are trying to have their voices heard. The dinosaur media refuses to interview them or allow them to speak up when they have CAIR-the unindicted co-conspirators-are chosen to speak up about anything and everything Muslim.

This is the creeping of Political Islam in America. This is what many of my Muslim friends have warn me. They keep trying warn anyone who will listen, because they love America and want to see our freedoms and Liberty stay out of the hands of these crazy people like OBL. Will anyone listen in time?

The silent majority which has been awakened at this time needs to demand that we hear the other side. Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser is just one such person who has been trying to voice heard. How can they win the argument when we demand they speak up and when they do, we don't listen? Please. At least read what he has written. He IS speaking up. Are you going to decide we should remain ignorant so that the terror monsters can win? Is that your decision? It is NOT mine.

Yes, I read with skepticism, but I also learn. At learn he is trying. There are many more.

The Spirit of Man is one of my favorite blogs. 'Winston' is so much more American than some of the idiots we have in Hollyweird, yet he is an Iranian who lives in Canada. Read his blog, please. Then tell me you don't believe him! I'll tell you that you are wrong. He is a great guy. :)

There are many Iraqis, Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iranians, and Afghanistanis who have blogs. They have been trying to reach out, but no one is listening. Or are we? I know the Admistration is not! Have a great day.

We Must Purge Political Islam From America

Below is a press release by Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim who has been trying for many years to call other Muslims to the reality that they need not be afraid in America. He has also been trying to explain to Americans who are not Muslims the difference between Political Islamists and good Muslims and what Political Islam is. American Muslim Organization calls for Shahzad to be treated as a traitor.

Actions of Times Square bomber, a naturalized US citizen, were treasonous.

PHOENIX (May 6, 2010) - Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, a devout Muslim and the president and founder of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy issued the following statement regarding the attack of Faisal Shahzad on New York's Times Square.

"The actions of Faisal Shahzad a naturalized US citizen on May 1, 2010 were a calculated and deliberate act of treason. Shahzad's cowardly attempt to kill innocent Americans in Times Square clearly demonstrates his loyalty lies with the Islamist radicals and not his chosen countrymen in the United States. His actions were a result of his faith in the supremacy of an Islamic State over the United States. His citizenship oath was given falsely in 2009 and was in the direct service of powers at war with the United States. His prosecution should encompass the gravity of those actions. No different from Hassan Abujihad convicted in 2008, Nidal Hasan and other Islamist traitors Shahzad if guilty is an enemy of the state and should be immediately legally treated as one.

Whether we declare it or not the United States is at war with the ideology of militant Islamism. Islamists are not afraid to call for the complete destruction of the principles that built our great country. The United States cannot afford to be timid in our response to their actions. Our citizens must abandon the paralyzing fears of political correctness and engage in long overdue genuine theo-political debates about the dangerous separatism of political Islam and its radicalizing effects.

Our elected officials must show true ideological leadership if we are to ever begin the long process of ridding ourselves of the scourge of Islamist terrorism. We cannot cower to victim-mongering organizations that thrive on keeping us from addressing the very real threats to our security. Platitudes that only condemn violence and ignore common ideology will not bring about the necessary reforms which can eventually prevent radicalization.

At the American Islamic Forum for Democracy we believe that it is incumbent on our elected leaders to engage in the war of ideas and demonstrate that the rule of one law that protects universal religious freedom takes precedence over the Islamic state. America in fact provides the best atmosphere for Muslims to practice our faith and it is time for us to empower honest reformist Muslims to declare the 'Islamic state' dead. We will never slow down the recurrence of Islamist terror against our citizenry until such a movement from Muslims against political Islam is palpable."

I understand that are many Americans who may not believe there are any 'good' Muslims because they don't hear about their protests, they don't read their denunciations of Muslims violence against innocent civillians without throwing Israel into the mix, they don't see any of this.

This man has served in our Military. He love this country. He is trying to bring this to the light. You may choose to believe whatever you will, but if he had as much coverage as CAIR you must ask yourselvs, "Would I still believe as I do?"
