Michael has put time a lot of time, blood, sweat and tears into this book, and I highly recommend it. Hey, it's cheaper than 5 gallons of gas! Sorry. I know that wasn't funny, but I don't have one of those Saudi Arabian money grabbers. However I do smoke, and I seem to remember you voting to raise taxes on me EVERY SINGLE YEAR. So...suffer. Pretty soon, there won't be anyone to save any of us...unless we all come together to turn the tide on this mess and vote for McCain!

Let me tell you a little bit about Michael, then about his book. Michael was a Green Beret before and when the war broke out, he was like the rest of us only he had friends that were over there dieing. He wasn't the truth, just as we weren't, so he decided to go over there and find out what the truth really was. He has been writing for a few years now, and you may read him on his site, "Michael Yon Online." He is an incredible writer who captures you and brings you with him through all the things he sees, feels, touches. I highly recommend him.

I also highly recommend this book. Michael Yon has spent more time in Iraq (and some in Afghanistan) than any other reporter in the world. He has been embedded with the troops, instead of being locked up in Hotel Baghdad. (That is what I call it.) This book consists of 227 pages that grip your heart, make you proud, make you wonder why. Are we occuppiers? Ask the Iraqi interpreter who, upon fearing he was dying, asked Michael to cut out his heart and have it buried in America.

No, we are not occuppiers. Not according to the Iraqi people. It is a political term used by the Left. The Right has their problems, too, and Michael does not take sides. He takes the side of Truth, thus the name of the book. He called it a civil war a year before anyone ever mumbled the words. Only by that time, they had missed the boat again. This book is fascinating in so many ways. Please read about the next Greatest Generation.
