Founders' Daily Quote: 20 Oct 08

"There are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations."

--James Madison (speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, 16 June 1788); Reference: Bartlett's Quotations (352)

This is so true! It has happened over the past 70 years, starting with the New Deal. Where can I find that AMENDMENT? Just what I thought. IT AIN'T THERE.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
