Founders' Daily Quote: 6 Oct 08

"Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right, from the frame of their nature, to knowledge, as their great Creator, who does nothing in vain, has given them understandings, and a desire to know; but besides this, they have a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge; I mean, of the characters and conduct of their rulers."

--John Adams (Dissertation on Canon and Feudal Law, 1765); Reference: Our Sacred Honor, Bennett, 253.

Amen. What is the character of Barack Obama? What is the character of John McCain? What is the character of Joe Biden? What is the character of Sarah Palin? What is the character of America?

The character of America is a non-perfect one, but it is of the best character that keeps trying to improve for the people not only of the United States of America, but of the whole world. America has a character of charity, kindness, openness, and love. She also has a character of kick ass for any and all enemies who dare to attack her. The first character is attributed to her people, not her government. The second attribute is for all of us, the government included. Let it be loudly proved and righteously stated.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
