This is what the ACLU has to say:
ACLU Urges Vista Unified To Change Parental Notification.Source: KPBS via Stop The ACLU.
Two legal groups are asking the Vista Unified School District to change a controversial policy that requires teenagers to get parental consent to leave campus for confidential medical services. KPBS Reporter Ana Tintocalis has more.
The ACLU of San Diego County and the National Center for Youth Law sent a letter to the Vista school board, pointing out their current policy violates state law.
Lawyers say California allows young people to leave campus without telling their parents to deal with a reproductive health matter, sexual, mental or substance abuse issues.
But Vista school trustees say the law allows some room for interpretation and they want to clarify that parents DO have to be notified.
The ACLU's David Blair Loy says Vista is opening itself up to serious.
“Any public entity, school district, city government is actively breaking the law or enacts a policy that violates the law is open to litigation to strike down the policy,” Blair Loy said.
And Blair Loy says the ACLU will consider litigation if the Vista keeps the policy.

Does anyone besides myself see the fallacy in these arguments? Why is it mostly men who have always backed these policies? Get a girl pregnant, kill the child. That way they don't have to pay any child support or ruin their marriage because they were having an affair. My oh my, how low we have sunk in our acclamation towards Liberty.
It certainly is not donned upon the weakest of us, so the strongest of us must soon be afraid, very afraid, that they will lose their Liberty shortly. After all, if we do not protect the youngest and weakest amongst us, we shall most certainly deserve to lose our Liberty as well. Ask the Germans of the 1940's...
May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
