Flight 93, Hero, news, politics

Today we will cover the Flight 93 Blogburst, Wednesday's Hero, war-lord Charles Taylor, Tibetan unrest and police murders, AQ in London, the murder of a Chaldean Archbishop, violent anti-war radicals, anti-semitism, and news from the Gathering of Eagles and others. Obviously this is too much to put the whole articles on this post, I will give you the links, and you may choose the articles that are of interest to you.

The Flight 93 Blogburst has been written by Alec over at 'Err or Theory'. He has done a wonderful job this week. Please go see his site and leave him some encouraging comments.

Blackfive has written an article about this fantastic DVD, which, btw, is now available for sale as a whole or by three different sections.

Make sure to get your copy of "Outside the Wire." Read also his article. It is a very good one, and watch the preview. I'm telling you, you are not getting the truth from our media. You will get it from this DVD.

Wednesday's Hero is Marine Staff Sergeant Gerald Flores. He has earned the Bronze Medal for his tireless work on his second tour of duty which he spent in Iraq training and advising over 300 Iraqis in the once very turbulent Anbar Province. He was embedded with Iraqi units in over 250 combat patrols, often coming under heavy fire. I have a feeling that he earned this medal for reasons which we are still not at liberty to know or say, because there is not more written, and there is not one act that occurred that says Ah ha! That is why he was awarded this Bronze Medal. Whatever the reason, Thank you for all you have done for us, and welcome home.

Uncle Jimbo comes through again with Heroes Tour Update- Mark Finelli Interview. Here is the link for this video. He has written a very good article about what is happening as they travel to DC. Please check it out, and send him your support! Keep those updates a-comin' Uncle Jimbo! ;)

Speaking of heroes, Michael Yon is one of mine. He may be out of the military, but he sure is going in after the truth and the stories the dinosaur media refuses to reveal (if they could get it). Here is his latest article (a little late), "Guitar Heroes."
Terrorists. The ones who murder children in front of their parents. The ones who take drugs and rape women and boys. The ones who blow up schools. The ones who have been forcibly evicted from places like Anbar Province, Baghdad and Baqubah by American and Iraqi forces. Terrorists are here now in Mosul. They call themselves al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). AQI cannot win without Baghdad, and cannot survive without Mosul. The Battle for Mosul is evolving into AQI’s last great stand. [Continue reading.]
These are Kiowa Soldiers who have killed at least 115 terrorists in the past eight months. I would just like to remind you:
This site remains primarily reader-supported. Presale funds paid by purchasers of signed copies of Michael’s upcoming April 2008 book, Moment of Truth in Iraq. also go toward operations. Yet, reader support remains critical to replace gear and cover the high expenses of remaining in Iraq. If you value this work, please consider supporting his mission.
This is one book that is well your time...and MONEY! Send some! That's an order!

MoveAmericaForward.org was giving a report over the weekend titled "The Sedition Report." During this press conference, (never-wanted-to-be-and-never-was) a Marine started to act the fool. You can read about this in the Washington Post. He has also been arrested for interrupting the Senate Foreign Relations Committe. That isn't his biggest arrest, however. Oh no. He decided, in his 'peaceful, no war' way to go to Pakistan and support the terrorists. Hmm. Ya think we are EVER go to arrest ANYONE for treason? To read the Sedition Report, click here. To watch their new tv ad, click here.

Okay, I can see this is getting to be very long. I am going to start using just the links to these articles. You may use the links that appeal to you or peak your interest.

This article, "Should Reporters Tell Truth in Court?", at first blush, seems to be one that is simple. Let me assure you, it is not. Does anyone remember Dr. Steven Hatfill? His life was ruined by a reporter, Toni Locy, when about 12 FBI agents and Department of Justice leaked to her untrue statements about his suspicion of having anything to do with the anthrax scare we went through shortly after September 11, 2001. These justice servants (and that is what they are supposed to be) and FBI agents are still roaming around with their jobs intact, while she is remaining silent after being ordered to give up the names of her sources. What should be done? Who is right? Too bad our children don't have as many rights as reporters...(while they're in the tomb womb).

Next I have two articles about the Tibet-China crisis:
China Detains Tibetan Monks Protesting on Key Anniversary.

KATHMANDU — Chinese authorities in Tibet today detained dozens of Tibetan monks staging a rare protest march on a key anniversary into the regional capital, Lhasa, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reports. An authoritative source who declined to be identified told RFA’s Tibetan service as many as 300 monks set out from Drepung monastery outside Lhasa on the roughly 10-km (5-mile) walk into the city center.

Sources said the monks were marching to the Potala Palace in the heart of Lhasa to demand the release of monks detained last October shortly after the exiled Tibetan leader, the Dalai Lama, received a Congressional Gold Medal in Washington .

Authorities at a checkpoint along the way stopped and detained between 50 and 60 monks, the source said. Witnesses reported seeing about 10 military vehicles, 10 police vehicles, and several ambulances at the checkpoint. No information was immediately available on where the monks were taken or why ambulances were summoned. Another witness reported that official vehicles then blocked off access by road to Drepung monastery, and that many monasteries in and around Lhasa were surrounded by members of the paramilitary People's Armed Police. The next article was written on the 15th, so it is more up-to-date (the other one was written on the 10th).
Tibetans Cite Spreading Unrest, Mounting Death Toll, as China Clamps Down.

KATHMANDU - Chinese authorities have locked down the Tibetan capital as witnesses report spreading demonstrations in more remote areas and a climbing death toll after security forces fired on rioting protesters, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reports.

Sources in Lhasa said residents had been warned to stay indoors after the worst unrest in Tibet in two decades. Others described seeing tanks and armored personnel carriers in the streets. "Today there are army [troops] everywhere. There is no way to go and come. We are confined to our own homes," one Tibetan man in Lhasa told RFA's Tibetan service.

"Every Tibetan is stopped, and their IDs are checked," another source said. "Even Tibetan government workers are checked, but the Chinese are free to move around. Many Tibetans who were arrested were taken to Toelung and other jails in different parts of Lhasa. [Continue reading.]
