Arizona v Obama+Illegal Aliens

The news I have to bring to your attention saddens me greatly. I never in my lifetime thought I would ever see the POTUS declare that he was not going to protect one of the states in our Union. Friends and countrymen, there is no longer a United States. We are under Tyranny. Thank you so much you Leftists commies.

Feds Will Not Process Arizona Illegal Aliens.

Today, the President had an agent of the Secretary of Homeland Security announce that Arizona is now a free place for illegal aliens. Arizona has been declared by President Obama to be an Open Border State --that is his answer to the Rule of Law.

"A top Department of Homeland Security official reportedly said his agency will not necessarily process illegal immigrants referred to them by Arizona authorities.

John Morton, assistant secretary of homeland security for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, made the comment during a meeting on Wednesday with the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune, the newspaper reports.

"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton told the newspaper."

Imagine the Federal government announcing, openly and defiantly, that it will not obey or enforcement laws passed by Congress and signed by a President?

This is anarchy, from a man who calls a well known terrorist, Bill Ayres a friend. This from the President who had a State department official apologize to China for a State that was enforcing Federal law.

This was from a man who welcomed a foreign president, the head of Mexico , into the White House, and agreed with him in his denouncing an American State for following the Federal law.

Disgrace is not a strong enough word. Outrage is not a word that conveys the strength of feeling of betrayal by our President.

Disgust comes closest. If you want to turn in illegal aliens call 866-347-2423. If you are calling from Arizona please know the President no longer recognizes you as a State.

After reading the article, I got very angry. This is not only reckless, unconstitutional, and arrogant, it is criminal. To announce publicly that you will not carry out the responsibilities for which you took an oath ought to be grounds for prison time. How dare you tell one of our states that you are not going to process any of their illegal aliens! Did you READ the damn law?

I doubt it. No one else in this adminstration has, why should he be any different? He probably hasn't heard of the Mexican Army incursions into our country either, or the kidnappings, rapes, and murders by illegal aliens.

Is every crime committed by an illegal aliens? NO. But the ones that are would not have happened if the federal government had gotten off their arses and done their job.

Boycott Los Angeles, Chicago

Los Angeles is restricting all transportation to Arizona and breaking all contracts (Sue them, Arizona), and Chicago's Assistant Super Intendent (Suzanne something) has denied the girls basketball team (who wants to go) the opportunity to participate in the playoffs after winning their division Title.

Okay. You wanna play dirty? Arizona government and contractors, SUE THEIR BUTTS OFF! These idiots are breaching contract law, commerce law, and many other laws. They claim it is because of safety concerns (Chicago), yet they went to China! I guess Gulags and organ donation by prisoners who did not give consent is okay, but Arizona is dangerous because they are upholding FEDERAL law.

[AVOID LOS ANGELES AND CHICAGO]

If every state had OBEYED FEDERAL LAW about immigration and ILLEGAL ALIENS, we would not face the overrun problems we have today. If the feds won't do their job, who will? Someone has to, and Arizona is starting to take their state back.

Are you aware that there is at least one kidnapping per day in Phoenix? Are you aware that my friend was murdered because he had to audicity to be on HIS property? Where in the heck was HIS protection? Why are you not standing up and rioting over the fact that we have been invaded by a FOREIGN ENEMY? Yes, I do mean enemy.

PHOENIX -- Authorities have captured 17 suspected illegal immigrants in southern Arizona as they continued their manhunt Saturday for smugglers who they say shot and wounded a sheriff's deputy in a remote desert area 50 miles south of Phoenix.

Ron sent me this email, and I remember when (former) Prime Minister Howard first said this to the Australian people and immigrants who've chosen to come there. Read on.

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques.

BP Agents Sentences Commuted 3/19/09

It's about time, and I'm grateful President Bush did it. Today President Bush commuted the sentences for Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean. They will leave prison March 20, 2009. They never should have been there in the first place, but I would like to thank everyone who kept up the good fight and did not quit the fight to free them. Thank you.

Black Leader Lauds Bush Commutation of Border Agents' Sentences.

Washington, D.C. - Mychal Massie, the chairman of the Project 21 black leadership network, is praising the decision made today by outgoing President George W. Bush to commute the sentences of jailed Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

Under the terms of the commutation order, made by President Bush on his last full day in office, the imprisoned law enforcement officers will be released on March 20. Ramos and Compean were sentenced to 11 and 12 years, respectively. Much of their time since entering prison in January of 2007 has been spent in solitary confinement.

"I sincerely want to thank President Bush for commuting the sentences of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean," said Project 21's Massie. "Their freedom has been too long in coming. We are pleased that, in one of his final acts as chief executive, President Bush has done the right thing and shown these men mercy."

Ramos and Compean were prosecuted for an incident that occurred in February 2005 on the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas. They chased Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila on foot after he abandoned a van containing 743 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $1 million. During the chase, Ramos shot at Aldrete-Davila after Ramos thought he saw Aldrete-Davila draw a gun. Aldrete-Davila escaped across the U.S.-Mexico border, and Ramos assumed Aldrete-Davila was unhurt. In fact, Aldrete-Davila had been shot in the buttock. U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton later charged Ramos and Compean for pursuing Aldrete-Davila without supervisor approval, moving spent shell casings and improperly reporting the fired shots.

Aldrete-Davila was granted immunity to testify against Ramos and Compean. He recently plead guilty to charges that he conspired to smuggle marijuana into the United States twice after he was granted immunity and faces a jail term of between five and 40 years and $2 million in fines.

Quoted by CNN.com, an unnamed Bush Administration official said: "The President has reviewed the circumstances of this case as a whole and the conditions of confinement and believes the sentences they received are too harsh and that they, and their families, have suffered enough for their crimes."

Project 21's Massie added: "I have repeatedly told the President that their sentences were too harsh and that they did not fit the crime. I am pleased that he finally agreed."

Massie also expressed thanks "to all those who stood with us in our petitions in favor of freeing these brave men."

Project 21’s Massie was an outspoken national voice in seeking a pardon or commutation for Ramos and Compean. Massie wrote about the case in a commentary published in The Washington Times on December 28, 2007. This commentary is available at the Washington Times.

Africa: The Unnoticed Threat

What about the Somalian pirates? Ah, yes. Now you look, but what do you really know? For example, did you know that the middle east has been using sub-saharan Africa as a gateway to Mexico so they can enter the United States?

Yes, this is happening more and more often. Especially since our media refuses to educate the masses that are too stupid to handle the truth...or is it that they are just too lazy to track it down? Hmm, I'll leave that to you to decide. On with the article.

I like to read Douglas Farah's site, because he keeps his eyes, ears, and whatever body part is available to the ground when it comes to Africa. He is a counter-terrorism expert, and he has authored the book, "BLOOD FROM STONES", the secret financial network of terror.

This is what attracted my eye today:

Sub-Saharan Africa Rises for the Wrong Reasons.

While the Somali piracy crisis has galvanized world opinion, it is not the only area of Sub-Saharan Africa that is attracting counter-terrorism attention.

The growing ties between criminal and terrorist groups (often one and the same when it comes to Hezbollah's broad activity in Western and Central Africa) has been noted. The Congress authorized the creation of the new Africa Command (Africom) largely because of the terrorist threat in the region.

But what is the real threat? Again I return to the pipeline metaphor, and Africa is more and more frequently a important part of that pipeline structure.

Two cases illustrate this clearly. The first, an illegal alien smuggling ring running from Ghana through Central America to the United States was ideally positioned to carry anyone, including terrorists, across multiple borders.

The ring was run by a 26-year-old named Mohammed Kamel Ibrahim, living in Mexico and using the moniker "Silk the Shocker." For $5,000 he offered to have his clients met by corrupt Mexican officials and sent on to the United States.

What is astonishing is the number of countries through which this network moved people. Like water running downhill they simply took the path of least resistance at any given moment. My full blog is here.

If you continue reading this article, you will find there are several ways in which corrupt governments - including the Mexican government - are aiding in the spread of jihadism. This is one of the very important reasons why we must remain ever vigilant on the issue of gaining control of and keeping it of our borders.

Not only our borders by land but by that of sea. Yes, they are planning something which will occur because someone got into America through the sea. We must press our government to gain control of our harbors. Also, they must give the Coast Guard proper training and equipment to face our enemy head-on. We are all counting on them as well, and it's about time we showed it.

Guard, Border Patrol Mark End of Operation Jump Start

The National Guard and the U.S Border Patrol marked the end of Operation Jump Start during a ceremony one week ago in Washington, D.C. The commissioner of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which includes the Border Patrol, joined the chief of the Border Patrol and the chief of the National Guard Bureau at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Operation Jump Start was a Guard mission to support the Border Patrol in providing security on America’s southern border. It began June 15, 2006, and officially ended Tuesday. During that time, more than 29,000 Guard soldiers and airmen from all 54 states and territories participated. At one time, 6,000 Guard troops were taking part in the mission while the Border Patrol hired and trained additional agents.

“We can all now admit that we did, in fact, need your help,” said W. Ralph Basham, CBP commissioner. “We needed your help desperately, as a matter of fact, to build a bridge (from) where we were two years ago in June 2006 (to) where we are now.”

David V. Aguilar, chief of the Border Patrol, said, “The partnership has worked. We have made America safer. As we have in the past – the Guard, the Border Patrol – we will continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder guarding and protecting our country.”

Lt. Gen. H Steven Blum, chief of the National Guard Bureau, said the partnership was an example of doing things the right way and will be studied by future leaders as a successful effort between two government organizations.

“If this country didn’t have a National Guard,” he said, “we’d be scrambling to invent one this morning.”

I must share with you one of our best mibloggers who is actually on the ground in Iraq. He has been to Afghanistan as well. He knows of what he speaks, and he is pro-American--not pro-democrat nor pro-republican. Pro-American. It's about time someone was! Here are some of the stories he has written recently: Townhall (DON'T FORGET, JOIN TOWNHALL AND GET HIS BOOK FREE!!!), An Open Offer to U.S. Senators, Great Americans: David Leimbach Comes Home. There is just one more video I would like to share with you. (Well, I'd like to share a lot of them, but I chose this one.) For those of us who are curious about whether or not we would have won WWII if we had the same press back then as we have today, watch this. IT IS NOT TRUE, it is a 'what if'...You will find it at JammieWearingFool: June 6, 1944, the 'Day of Days'. Great job guys.

Lastly, but certainly never leastly, take a moment out of your day today to remember all of those who went to war before you and for you. This is D-Day. God bless our military! Thank you, men and women of the Armed Forces. We are very grateful for your lives, no matter how long or short they have been. I also pray for our military of today. I thank God for you each day. I also pray for your protection. Keep your heads down and your powder dry. We love you. God bless you.
