July 4th Tea Party Coming Up

For everyone who has questions, I'm trying to find the answers. So far this is what we know.

Matthew Perdie, who has walked 3600 miles across America talking to REAL people, shall be in the home stretch early July. We are trying to raise enough money for his parents and him to stay in a hotel. Five dollars would be better than nothing, I always say. :)

We will meet at Memorial Park for a picnic around 4 pm. Then we will walk the rest of the way with Matthew to show him our support. We will end up at the Santa Monica Pier for a Tea Party at 6 pm. Matthew, of course, will be one of the speakers.

Please wear your walking shoes! We do not want anyone to feel pain during this event. If you cannot walk this distance, please meet us at the Pier.

Speakers, music, entertainment, etc has been taken care of by the Pasadena Patriots Tea Party - Matthew Perdie. The media will be there this time, even if it is only FOX TV. (I'm trying to PJTV.com to come.) They have done an excellent job, as usual.

No ride? Call Metro. It's on one of the first pages of the schedule.
No idea how to get there if you're driving? Try Google maps. If you do not know how to use this, put in your search engine "google maps". When that screen appears, choose the one that is not advertised. Hey, why should we give them money for every click they get, right? *heh* Okay, know you put into the search field, 'Memorial Park Santa Monica, California' or 'Santa Monice Pier'. They will give you directions if you just click on one of the links in the upper right corner.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming to this event. Let's show them that Long Beach Patriots do care, that we are a viable contender against Congresswoman Laura Richardson, and that we are ready and able to pick our own Crosses to carry them to the finish line! LET'S ROLL!

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again. Digg! Digg!

Founders' Daily Quote(s): 11/9-13/09

Monday, November 9, 2009.
"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time, who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done, if we are always doing. And that you may be always doing good, my dear, is the ardent prayer of yours affectionately." --Thomas Jefferson, letter to Martha Jefferson, 1787

Who was that who tried to teach us that Thomas Jefferson didn't believe in God? Then why is he PRAYING? And Who is he praying to? It certainly was NOT Mother Earth!

Tue. 11/10.
"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it." --Thomas Paine, The Crisis, No. 4, 1777

AMEN!

Wed. 11/11.
"Gentlemen, you will permit me to put on my spectacles, for I have grown not only gray, but almost blind in the service of my country." --George Washington, upon fumbling for his glasses before delivering the Newburgh Address, 1783

Thu. 11/12.
"Strive to be the greatest man in your country, and you may be disappointed. Strive to be the best and you may succeed: he may well win the race that runs by himself." --Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard's Almanack, 1747

Fri. 11/13.
"Human Felicity is produced not so much by great Pieces of good Fortune that seldom happen, as by little Advantages that occur every Day." --Benjamin Franklin, Autobiography, 1771

For all the people who couldn't go to DC, we are having a Tea Party right outside of our Congresswoman's office. It is located between Pacific Ave and Pine Street on Broadway. (Downtown) We shall march up and down the block so that the people on the main streets (Pacific and Pine) may notice us.

Flags, posters, music, CD player/cassette/radio player. I'll bring my megaphone for everyone's use. If anyone knows of a speaker, please send me an e-mail.

Individually we shall go upstairs and express our views and concerns with the staffers. Be polite but firm. They are very nice in her office.

Also bring your own food and drink. Although being downtown, you should have no problem finding something to eat. Let's have some fun while we venture to save our nation from socialism!

PS. To find me on Facebook, look under Rosemary RawSense. I couldn't think of a name when I signed up a while back, so I just made something up. Now I'm stuck with it. *heh*

Election Call From Former Aide

A former Party aide calls on Chinese to push for democracy as National Day approaches.

AFP
Bao Tong, 76, a former top aide to late Chinese leader Zhao Ziyang, holds up a photo of Zhao during an interview at his home in Beijing, April 27, 2009.

HONG KONG—A former top official in China's Communist Party has called on patriotic Chinese to "return power to the people" and push for full democracy ahead of the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic.

Sixty years after peasant leader Mao Zedong proclaimed the People's Republic of China from Tiananmen Square on Oct. 1, 1949, former top Party aide Bao Tong said the Party has never admitted its mistakes.

"All of the great mistakes at a national level with far-reaching consequences were committed under the planning and leadership of the Communist Party," wrote Bao, a former aide to disgraced late Communist Party chief Zhao Ziyang.

"The People's Republic of China is not a republic at all. This is a sort of pathology," he said.

"It consists in the systemic erosion of the rights of citizens to all sorts of things, including elections and private property, by the Party leadership over the last 60 years."

'Progress' under the Party.

In an essay penned from his Beijing home, where Bao has been held under house arrest since returning from a seven-year jail term in the wake of the 1989 student-led pro-democracy movement, Bao poured scorn on the wave of official praise for China's progress under the Party.

"Hidden troubles shouldn't be allowed to remain packaged up in talk of 'great and mighty results,' for the sake of our children, our grandchildren, and all their descendants," he wrote.

Behind the talk of "prosperity" and "the rise of China" lies rampant official corruption and an ever-widening gap between rich and poor, Bao said.

"Behind the words 'hard reasoning of development' lies the plunder of natural resources and the laying waste of the environment," he added.

He delineated a "collapse of personal freedoms, religious freedom, ethnic autonomy, and freedoms of speech, protest and demonstration" behind the government's emphasis on stability.

Call for elections.

"How should a patriot show their love and concern for their country?" Bao wrote.

"By returning power to the people and building a republic," said Bao, who called on Chinese people to educate themselves about what full, direct elections actually mean.

"If we are to cash in on [promises of] democracy, openness, competition and meritocracy, universal direct elections are inevitable," he wrote.

"Otherwise that particular check will undoubtedly bounce."

"China is in dire need of a period of education and enlightenment about what is really meant by a 'republic' and what is really meant by 'universal, direct elections.'"

Bao said that no political party should be given the right to field an approved list of candidates, or to interfere with the right of any candidate to enter the field or to take up their post if they are elected.

"The legitimacy of a republic rests on universal, direct elections. It is the sacred duty of every patriotic citizen to promote universal, direct elections in which there is true competition between candidates," Bao wrote.

Chinese authorities are implementing a nationwide security clampdown ahead of the Oct. 1 National Day celebrations, closing key Web sites and discussion boards, and detaining people who try to lodge complaints in Beijing about local governments.

The anniversary comes as Beijing struggles to quell ethnic tensions in China's northwest and to silence outspoken dissidents, petitioners, and civil rights lawyers, who have been warned not to use the occasion to protest against the government.

Bridge Needed, Got Me Some Troubled Waters

John over at Stop the ACLLU has informed me of some very troubling news. Take for example this little tidbit:
A bunch of hippies do their annual drugfest. After arresting one, they were attacked by a mob of them throwing sticks and rocks. One officer was injured. Now the ACLU are coming to the rescue of the hippies of course. [READ MORE.]
What in God's Name is happening where our country allows all these idiots to have their so-called free speech/freedom of expression, and Christians must be silenced? I SAY, "NO! NOT ON MY WATCH!" (The ACLU's favorite target. See next article.)

As if that were not bad enough, the courts are at it again:
"In fact, the federal judge said…the ACLU must be able to have the say-so over whether religious literature can be distributed — and obviously, if the ACLU has that say-so, no religious literature will ever be distributed," says Matt Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. [READ MORE.]
I agree. Are you aware that anyone who works for the ACLU has no privacy? That's right. They get to know everything about you and who you vote for! What kind of civil liberty is this? MARXISM, that's what! Pass this on, and please follow the link to STACLU and read this. It's disgusting, but you need to know what is happening behind your back.

This is the Stop the ACLU blogburst. Would you like to join? Spread the word. Write about the injustices done by this heinous marxist group who goes around pretending to be a civil rights organization. Oh dear, did my disdain for these cretons seep through? LOL. That's alright. It's about time someone's did! ;)

The Federalist: Founders' Daily Quote(s)

Monday, February 28, 2005
"Public opinion sets bounds to every government, and is the real sovereign in every free one." --James Madison

Oh really? Would you please tell that to the Supremes...!

Tuesday, March 1, 2005
"The regular distribution of power into distinct departments; the introduction of legislative balances and checks; the institution of courts composed of judges holding their offices during good behavior; the representation of the people in the legislature by deputies of their own election.... They are means, and powerful means, by which the excellences of republican government may be retained and its imperfections lessened or avoided." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 9

Is it good behavior to look at another country's laws to make your case for your decision? Hmm? What is our recourse when we have an inept legistature? How did we become a "safe" district for so many losers of both parties? Is party affiliation really all it's cracked up to be? Just a few thoughts. I'm tired of every year voting, and I know that no matter what-the majority of the same people will be returning. So why, do tell, do they spend their career raising money if they know they won't be defeated? Hmm. Disgusting.

"Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government." --George Washington

Wake up, Supremes! Beware!

Thursday, March 3, 2005
"But as the plan of the convention aims only at a partial union or consolidation, the State governments would clearly retain all the rights of sovereignty which they before had, and which were not, by that act, EXCLUSIVELY delegated to the United States." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 32

Try telling that to the Supremes. I guess I'm rather upset with the decisions, or lack thereof, this morning in particular. I have been holding off on writing this, because I have been upset. They can take Lawrence v. Texas, Supremes v. God, but they won't take business owners v. employees?

The 9th Circus said that employers cannot ask employees any discovery questions as to where a person was born, legality in this country, etc., because it would be discriminatory? Huh?

"They accomplished a revolution which has no parallel in the annals of human society. They reared the fabrics of governments which have no model on the face of the globe. They formed the design of a great Confederacy, which it is incumbent on their successors to improve and perpetuate." --James Madison, Federalist No. 14

Yes. Yes they did. I thank God for them not as often as I should, but I do. Thank you for bestowing upon us this great nation, even with the flakes that come with it. Hehehe. Have a great day everyone.

The Federalist: Founders' Daily Quote

"It should be your care, therefore, and mine, to elevate the minds of our children and exalt their courage; to accelerate and animate their industry and activity; to excite in them an habitual contempt of meanness, abhorrence of injustice and inhumanity, and an ambition to excel in every capacity, faculty, and virtue. If we suffer their minds to grovel and creep in infancy, they will grovel all their lives." --John Adams

This is the true definition of liberal thought. Somewhere down the road to today, the true liberals became Republicans. Let's look at the difference between the two major parties in America: Democrat and Republican.

Democrats used to understand that it was unjust to allow a nation to murder en masse a portion of its population. This was during WWII. They also believed that the USA, with all her flaws, was the best nation in the world and worth defending. Then came the 1960's. Free love, free sex, free disease, free drugs, free contempt, etc. Many Democrats were shocked. Many were not. Communism had infiltrated the party either during WWII or at the start of the cold war and had taken root. It is a sad thing.

Republicans, on the other hand, were in the minority party. They wanted to follow George Washington's advice: Do not get tangled in other countries affairs, and don't make permanent allies. They were the isolationists.

At that time (during the 192?-193?,) there was the League of Nations. An ineffective body of "diplomats" that could do nothing more than yack at one another. Then we got tangled with the United Nations after WWII so there would never again be genocide. Look around you. What do you see? There was genocide in America-the black male (and female,) Sudan, China, Libya, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Horn of Africa, Rwanda, France (remember the old folks who died because there was no cool air and everyone was on vacation?), etc. In other words, George Washington was right! And so are we, now, the Republicans.

So, how do I contend that Republicans are true liberals and Democrats in power positions are Communists? Republicans=free speech, free choice, fair markets, capitolism, free flow of ideas, equality, free people from oppression when possible, tolerant, and people do for themselves so they can help each other.

Democrats=blacklist artists & actors in Hollywood if you are a Republican, no choice about joining a union, no choice about government schools which teach you to hate your country and no tolerence for God or differing ideas, desire to get rid of as many children through abortion as possible disguised as population control, government is everything, God is not allowed (even though He is the One who bestowed upon us this great and beautiful land,) group think, and love/hate of self.

Also, Republicans come up with ideas to discuss and debate. You can talk. Find out the flaws and the good in your idea. Democrats call you names like racist, homophobe, etc. without even knowing your background or the common sense/flaws in your idea. There is no room for discussion or working together.

THIS IS NOT TRUE OF EVERYONE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE AISLE! It never is. There are very good Democrats. There are Republicans that I am sorry they ever stepped foot into my party. Yes, they can go that far. Take Mr. Racist who ran for Governor, David Duke. Please, take him! He is an absolute embarassment to the human race.

I have called out mine, are you willing to call out yours? Maybe the difference lies within the result. I can do this without reprecussion. I'm afraid you can't. If I am wrong, my dear friends who are Democrats, please tell me how. I want us all to be Americans again. Can we do that?
