Tea Party Patriots: Onward March in Remembrance of Andrew Breitbart

Today is a very sad day because of America's loss of Andrew Breitbart, but he would encourage us to move forward most enthusiastically. For those who have been on the sidelines, it's okay. Pick up your banners and join us so we can finally bring our country to its constitionally limitted authority.

Andrew Breitbart was born in 1969, he leaves behind a very charming wife and four children. He was 43 years old. This is tragic.

I would like an autopsy so we can know possitively that no jihadi can claim responsibility for Andrew's demise, because he put his life on the line for ALL Americans. It is true that his life was in danger for us.

Now it appears the only way to pay tribute to our well respected and tirelessly working friend is to pick up where he left off so what he started was not in vain. I accept this challenge. I am back.

Please contact me if you can help in any way toward our next Tea Party (Long Beach Patriots) on April 15, 2012.

Lastly but NOT leastly. Please pray for Andrew's family, friends, and other loved ones. Please send them words of encouragement. If anyone feels the need to send them angry, obscene words, please remember that God is watching you. I do not have to because God will take care of this family and He will also deal with you. So please stay away if you do not want to be encouraging. Thank you.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Remember Neda: Where Are You NOW?

This is a very sad day and shame should brought upon this Administration. Yesterday, Iran was appointed to the Womens Rights Commission. Say what? It is true. The US did not utter a peep in protest, but the Iranian women have. I guess they are braver than Obama? I have lost all respect.

How can tell me that this man gives a damn when he has allowed this to occur? Where is NOW? Not a word. You think Iran is just like America? WATCH THIS VIDEO THEN.

Here is the link in case the video doesn't work.

I hope to God that someone comes to their senses and stops this nonsense. I want the UN gone. Destroyed as far as no more money from the USA (26%!) and no longer in existence. Dissolved is the word I was looking for.

Please remember the woman, Neda, who was gunned down by the Iranian govt just for asking for democracy. All she wanted was freedom. Something you seem to take for granted, and you pay no attention to others who have none. Liberty is God's plan. Marxism is the plan of evil men. Dictatorship is also evil. Please, raise up your voices in unity with the women in Iran!

I will NOT live under the orders of any other country than that of AMERICA. God bless her and Keep her.

Go to #iranelection and let them know you stand with them in spirit, since you cannot be there. Find out where there is going to be a protest in your area, and SHOW UP. This makes me very angry. The dinosaur media gave it maybe 2 seconds, while they gave those 16 words that President George W. Bush spoke TRUTHFULLY in his address to the nation months. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

I'm not saying they shouldn't have covered what Bush had said. Although I agree that he spoke he the truth, he certainly didn't have a very good way of standing up for whatever he said. But that's a-whole-nother story...

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again. Digg! Digg!

It may not work because I do not know how to switch C:\Users\etc into html. If anyone out there know how to do this, please help me! Thanks.

Happy Martin Luther King Jr Day

Today as the rain pours down in California, let us take some time to remember and celebrate one of our own. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. was a fascinating man to the millions of people, me included. It is a sad and cruel thing that he was assassinated in 1968, but let's look at all the good he did.

He was a very articulate speaker. He spoke as he saw things, and he knew much about our constitution. This worried many white people as they were still ignorant to the fact that black people have minds just as great and creative as theirs. Many white people, however, understood this in a good way and stood up for him and believe in his speeches, his religious teachings, his approach of non-violence, and much more.

These white people were Christians. We must, however, understand that the KK used religion as al Qaida is doing today. I don't want to make this into anything political, but the truth must be told. Most KKK members were Democrats, while Martin Luther King Jr. was a Republican.

If the video is not working properly, here is the YouTube link. Hat tip: superjsuh.

Many things have changed since the time of his murder, so let us not dwell on which party did what. I do not believe he would have wanted it that way. I know he certainly would Not have wanted all of his brothers and sisters to flock to one party or the other. He would want us to think and speak for ourselves and also to dialogue with each other.

He was a great man in my mind, and America is a better country for having Martin Luther King Jr. amongst us. Even if it were only for short while. Thank you, Rev. King, for opening up all those doors. Thank you for your persistence and knowledge and kindness and belief that one day, we would be able to stand together-hand in hand-and praise God for such a beautiful country and all of our blessings. Thank you for all of this.

Thank you for braving that frontier. Your work has been very successful. We still have a way to go, however. Some of the people who were with you have forgotten or have become bitter because of your assassination. Please do not be too disappointed. They loved you and your message. Have mercy on them.

When they realize the truth, when the scales off their eyes, we can once again climb to the top of that mountain and reach out to touch the Hand of God together. Until that time, I shall do my best to help restore your dream, our dream. God bless you, and I pray you are resting peacefully with God.

Happy Reverend Martin Luther King Day everyone. This is everyone's day of celebration, and don't let anyone tell you different. God bless.

Iran On Fire

First a little background, since the media seems not to know any. On the 17th of December is known in to Shia Muslims and Iran as the first day of the year and the month is Moharram. This is when they honor the grandchildren of Mohammad who was murdered. They do this many in many different ways, and you can read about that here. Ashura is a very important day in the Shia Muslim world. This is the 10th day of the month (Dec. 27th).

This year, the Green Movement in Iran has chosen this day to let the murderous regime know once again that they do not want to live under their tyranny. Many people appear to believe that the riots of June 2009 have stopped, they would be woefully wrong. Our media just stopped paying attention. SHAME ON YOU.

Now for the articles I have found for you.

Watch for the next wave of protests in Iran: December 27th. Planet Iran.

Statement by National Security Council Spokesman Mike Hammer on violence in Iran.

WASHINGTON, D.C (Upfront News) -- Statement on Iran:

'We strongly condemn the violent and unjust suppression of civilians in Iran seeking to exercise their universal rights. Hope and history are on the side of those who peacefully seek their universal rights, and so is the United States. Governing through fear and violence is never just, and as President Obama said in Oslo - it is telling when governments fear the aspirations of their own people more than the power of any other nation.'

Coalition Calms Afghan Elders' Water Fears

by Spc. Mary Louise Gonzalez
CJTF-101

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Oct. 28, 2008) – People in the rural villages surrounding this former Soviet air base in eastern Afghanistan that’s now being used for the headquarters of coalition operations in Afghanistan have been upset about an enigma surrounding an important creek for some time.

Australian Maj. David Bergman, Mine Action Center officer in charge, and Sgt. 1st Class Jayson Blunck, MAC operations non commissioned officer, stand with village elders over a tunnel for Coyote Creek to run under the flight line at Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan Oct. 25. The elders were invited onto the U.S. air field to examine the status of the creek which causes simultaneous floods and droughts to the surrounding villages. (Photo by Spc. Mary L. Gonzalez, CJTF-101 Public Affairs) Coyote Creek, as it is known on the base, enters the base on the west side of the flightline and then flows through to the east side. Or at least it used to. Six years of dirt and silt have built up on the west end of the creek, causing severe flooding to the western villages, and droughts in the villages on the east side. Many of the local citizens thought this was done purposely by coalition forces to choke off their main water source.

So on Oct. 25, officials from the provincial reconstruction team for Afghanistan’s Parwan province and the Mine Action Center here invited village elders onto the base to inspect the creek and see the progress that has been made to amend the problem. Australian Maj. David Bergman, MAC officer in charge, said village elders were able to see for themselves that the creek had silted up from a long-term blockage to the drain that goes under the runway. “We saw approximately five feet of dirt that is blocking the creek head,” he said. “And what that means is no water can actually enter in the creek and flow through.”

This a concern not only for the local residents, but also for the base, Bergman said. When the west village floods, so does that part of Bagram Airfield and some of its roads and housing, he noted. To eliminate the problem, the MAC burned down the dense plant growth around the creek within the base so the area can be cleared of hidden mines left over from the former Soviet occupation as the first step in solving the problem. “Then we are going to use our demining excavators, which are up-armored, to actually go along the creekline and take out as much silt as we can to allow the water to flow from the western side of the creek through the tunnel under the runway,” Bergman said.

While at the base, the village elders saw various places along the creek where the silt and debris had severely narrowed the creek bed or blocked its path. With all the vegetation burned away, the mess was clearly visible. The elders showed a lot of excitement during the visit. There seemed to be no end to the handshakes, smiles and hugs from the most senior of the elders as they saw something is being done to fix their main water supply.

“From their standpoint, I feel that [the visit] helped them understand and know that we are here to help in whatever capacity we can,” U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Jayson Blunck, MAC operations noncommissioned officer, said. “We are truly concerned with the problem of the village not receiving water,” Blunck added, “and bringing them on base helped them understand. Like the saying goes, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words.’”

Tony Snow 53 RIP

I am in shock. I was under the impression that he had beaten his colon cancer, but he did not. He went Home to Heaven today. I pray for his wife and his children to be comforted in the fact that they knew him for as long as he was given to us and know how very much he loved them. Seek the LORD, for He will comfort you.

To all you men out there, GET A PROSTATE EXAM. NOW. I don't want to hear it. Too many of my friends are dieing on my, and I just can't take it anymore.

Have a nice day.

Update: I wasn't sure, but yes, many people are awake and blogging already about Tony. They seem to of have had the same reaction as I did. Here are a few of these bloggers:

Sister Toldjah: RIP, Tony Snow. (She has much better info than I do.)
Pirate's Cove: Tony Snow Passes Away At 53.
Stop the ACLU: Tony Snow Passes Into History.
Hat tip: HotAir: Tony Snow, Former White House Press Secretary and FOX News Anchor, Dies at 53 (FoxNews.com)
The White House: President and Mrs. Bush Saddened by Death of Tony Snow.

Update II: While I was going around trying to trackback to those articles whom I have mentioned, I came upon this post: Flag At Half-Mast For Tony Snow, May He Rest In Peace, which is quite respectful and very decent. Why do I find this unusual? He is on the other side of the aisle, and I usually don't find many pleasant posts on that side. Mind you, we have enough sites which are unpleasant to them as well, so you can see where my respect comes from for this site, Gun Toting Liberal. Please visit him. Let me know what you think of his beautiful 'good-bye' to Tony. Have a good day

Update III: A dear friend of mine whom I've known since the beginning of my blogging career has found me over at WP and left me a warm comment about Tony Snow. Then I realized I had not put up my flag at halfmast! I would like to thank you, Paul, for keeping me in check. However, I'd much rather have Tony back...*tears*

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him.

Rest in Peace Tim Russert

I know many have already heard the news that Tim Russert has died of a (possible) heart attack while at work earlier this afternoon at the age of 58, but I want to add my 2 cents. I could always count on Tim to have an interesting show, unless I really couldn't stand the interviewee. That would be my hang-up, not his. He tried to treat everyone fairly, and he was mostly successful. When you made it to the Meet the Press show, you made it! I did think he may have been a little tougher on Conservatives than Liberals, but that again could be my perception. This is not a bad thing. Do not misunderstand me. It is good that our politicians get the tough questions. This way, we can see what kind of backbone (if any) they had.

Who out there can fill his shoes? I cannot think of one person save Bret Hume from Special Report over at Fox News. I doubt they will ask him, and it will be to their loss. Am I suggesting that Tim is easily replacable? Of course not! That is why it is so hard to find anyone to take his place on a show that Tim literally pulled up from the ash heap of history.

Tim Russert will certainly be missed, and I will continue to carry the mantra of Bills for you, Tim. Go Bills! Rest in sweet Peace, Tim. May your family find solace in the outpouring of love and prayers that are following this sudden, horrible news. May you rest in Peace, Tim, and thank you for all that you've given. God bless you.

PS. BTW, Rosemary's Thoughts was one year old yesterday.
