Tea Party Patriots: Onward March in Remembrance of Andrew Breitbart

Today is a very sad day because of America's loss of Andrew Breitbart, but he would encourage us to move forward most enthusiastically. For those who have been on the sidelines, it's okay. Pick up your banners and join us so we can finally bring our country to its constitionally limitted authority.

Andrew Breitbart was born in 1969, he leaves behind a very charming wife and four children. He was 43 years old. This is tragic.

I would like an autopsy so we can know possitively that no jihadi can claim responsibility for Andrew's demise, because he put his life on the line for ALL Americans. It is true that his life was in danger for us.

Now it appears the only way to pay tribute to our well respected and tirelessly working friend is to pick up where he left off so what he started was not in vain. I accept this challenge. I am back.

Please contact me if you can help in any way toward our next Tea Party (Long Beach Patriots) on April 15, 2012.

Lastly but NOT leastly. Please pray for Andrew's family, friends, and other loved ones. Please send them words of encouragement. If anyone feels the need to send them angry, obscene words, please remember that God is watching you. I do not have to because God will take care of this family and He will also deal with you. So please stay away if you do not want to be encouraging. Thank you.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

John

Who was John? He was my brother, my best friend, an artist, a person who could calm any argument, and so much more. John went to Heaven November 12, 2010, at 8:36 pm officially, but I saw the clock say 7:11 pm. The official time is when the doctor came to turn off the ventilator. His heart stopped at 7:11 pm.

I love my brother, John, and he loved me. He took very good care of me, much more than I deserved. That’s for sure. John was such a special man not only to me, but to many others as well.

He was generous, unselfish, kind, loving, strong, warm, and he was very much a great man. I miss him so dearly and my only comfort is the knowledge that he is now in Heaven with God.

I would like to thank everyone who has been praying for us through this very difficult time. It is sincerely appreciated.

I must now get ready to go to the funeral home to make arrangement. I was hoping by writing this, I could find some strength. I believe the only strength I have right now is that of our Lord’s. I’ll accept that! Have a blessed day everyone, and remember to tell your loved ones that you love them. You never know when it will be the last time you see them on earth

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Honoring a Fallen Soldier and Milblogger

Today is a day of sorrow, honor, anguish, memories and every emotion in the world for those who knew and loved PFC Paul O. Cuzzupe. He was a Military man through and through, and he was also a blogger. You may have even read his words. Have a nice trip to Heaven, and we shall remember you here. Godspeed.

Honoring a Fallen Soldier and Military Blogger, PFC Paul O. Cuzzupe II

Fallen Military BloggersArmy.

Pfc. Paul O. Cuzzupe II was killed August 8, 2010 while serving in Afghanistan. Cuzzupe, who was assigned to the 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, died after suffering injuries in Akhtar-Mohammad-Khan when his unit came under attack with an improvised explosive device.

Cuzzupe occasionally posted blog entries on his MySpace page. In his final entry titled "First Thanksgiving away from home" dated November 25, 2009, Paul wrote:

I have never spent and Thanksgiving away from home. It is weird how I am actually not going to be doing anything tomorrow on my favorite holiday. Life when you are training in the Army is boring to say the least. I had this grand vision that I would always be doing soething, but that is not the case, not yet anyway. It will pick up greatly when I leave AIT to go to my duty station. From there I have no idea what is in store for me, but I am sure that I will get to see the shit that has had our country bogged down for the last 8 years. I find myslef not scared, just trying to be mentally prepared. I have faith in my skills and my ability to do my job. I ve always thought that I would carry on the tradition in my family being in the Army. It is my turn. I only hope that my father and grandfather are looking down me and watching me. I feel their presence quite frequently and I know that the will be with me always, especially when times get tough.

God bless Paul for his courage and sacrifice. My thoughts and condolences go out to all his family and friends.

The St. Petersburg Times based in Tampa, has more information about Paul, his family and the military style procession he received after his body arrived in Tampa.

Military personnel, law enforcement officers, strangers and friends saluted the white hearse as it passed. Car dealerships and restaurants on S.R. 60 hung their flags at half-staff.

They Fought for Us

Many people wonder what we can do to help those in time of war and peace, while others denegrade their honor. You can join SoldiersAngels.org, send little things from home for those of you who have little to give. Everything is counted as a blessing. But most importantly, REMEMBER. Watch this video and learn.

Here is the YouTube link in case the video does not work.

There are many groups out there, so be careful when decide to help. email me to verify if it is a legitimate organization. If I do not know, this is the answer I will give you.

They don't want you to remember so that they can be praised, this is not their goal. Their goal is to keep America safe from tyranny, fascists, communists, and socialists. Free from anything that would come between you and your freedom and Liberty.

They deserve this much and a whole lot more. Ignore the ignorant. You will not change their closed minds. Do not waste your time on those who side with the enemy. You may even want to turn them in.

All I am asking of you is to remember these brave men and women everyday in your prayers. If you can, send them a card, an email, some cookies, or whatever you may be able to afford. You will never know just how much it is appreciated. Thank you.

Police Quash Tiananmen Memorials

Reported by Radio Free Asia.

China blocks efforts to commemorate the 1989 massacre in Beijing of pro-democracy demonstrators.

HONG KONG—Attempts to stage public events and protests commemorating the 21st anniversary of the military crackdown on the 1989 student-led pro-democracy movement in Beijing's Tiananmen Square have been largely thwarted by Chinese authorities, activists said.

"The Chinese government continues to refuse to openly and truthfully address the events of June 4, 1989, and persists in its efforts to silence Chinese citizens who seek to commemorate the massacre," the nongovernment network Chinese Human Rights Defenders (CHRD) said.

Activists using the microblogging service Twitter said a planned commemorative event on the campus of Beijing University, one of the centers of the student movement two decades ago, had failed owing to the presence of large numbers of state security police.

"I am at the Beijing University campus," tweeted user PKUbuzheteng Thursday. "Looking at the current situation, it seems that the protest event hasn't been able to proceed."

Twitter users had called on netizens to arrive wearing the mourning color white at the university campus on June 3 to mark the night of the beginning of the advance on the student headquarters by the People's Liberation Army.

"It seems that they have stationed one national security policeman at the gate, with others walking around the place in all directions," PUKbuzheteng wrote.

'Scuffles,' detentions reported.

And Twitter user freemoren reported "scuffles between police and bystanders" outside the Great Hall of the People and numerous government departments, including the ruling Communist Party's powerful central propaganda department.

Police in Beijing detained six artists ahead of the anniversary as they staged public memorial events for the crackdown outside the capital's Museum of Fine Arts, including a sit-in and a signature campaign, artist Zhu Yanguang said.

Earlier this week, a cartoon entered for a competition which depicted a child drawing a line of tanks stopped by a single person at the Southern Metropolis Daily newspaper was removed from the paper's Web site.

"We decided pro-actively to remove the cartoon as it was being maliciously misread and misunderstood by some people, leading to a negative influence," an employee at the newspaper said.

"There was no question of being put under pressure."

But Beijing-based dissident Jiang Qisheng said the government had been obsessive about suppressing any mention of the crackdown for 20 years.

"I see the event as the massacre of poor people by an army, but the government thinks that it was right and proper to kill them," Jiang said.

"But it still won't come out and admit it."

Hong Kong criticized.

Accusing police across China of "harassing and intimidating activists against speaking out as June 4 approaches", CHRD said that at least four Beijing-based individuals are still serving jail sentences for their participation in the 1989 protests.

It added that a further three activists had been sent to labor camp last year for their attempts to mark the 20th anniversary of the crackdown, which officials refuse to discuss openly, and which left hundreds, perhaps thousands, dead and an unknown number injured.

It slammed the seizure by Hong Kong police of two replicas of the 1989 Goddess of Democracy statue ahead of memorial events, which have taken place in the territory every year, calling it "an unprecedented act of interference with the territory’s commemorative activities."

Hong Kong activists were in uproar on forums and microblogging services after the territory's Chinese University of Hong Kong refused to allow a sculpture of the Goddess to be displayed on campus, citing a need for political neutrality.

They called on people attending Saturday's memorial service in Victoria Park to carry the statue to the campus in protest after the event was ended.

Hong Kong Democratic legislator James To also hit out at the government's deportation of New Zealand national Chen Weiming, who sculpted the statue.

"The government is obviously playing dirty tricks and this must be condemned," To told local media. "I think it is playing dirty tricks."

"[I] believe that all the government has done is to suppress the June 4 remembrance activity ... I think the government is to be condemned," he said.

Hong Kong Security Secretary Ambrose Lee denied the charges, saying that the immigration authorities had acted fully in compliance with the law.

He said police had already returned the confiscated statues to the memorial organizers, the Hong Kong Alliance for the Support of Patriotic and Democratic Movement in China.

Activists watched.

Meanwhile, dozens of rights activists remained under surveillance across China, or had been warned off participating in any public events.

In Beijing, civil rights lawyer Teng Biao had been subjected to surveillance, while writer Wang Debang had received a warning.

In Xian, activist Yang Hai said police had said they would take him out of town until after the anniversary, while a second activist Zhang Jiankang hadn't been seen since being called in to "drink tea" with national security police.

In southwestern China, Suining-based dissident Liu Xianbin and Chongqing-based rights activist Mu Jiayu both reported being under surveillance on the eve of June 4, CHRD said in a statement on its Web site.

MEMORIAL DAY PRAYERS

Below is a familiar writing which we ought to remember more often, but I just wanted to add my 2 cents.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for all the miracles You have performed so far. I pray You continue to hear our prayers. Lift up our Servicepeople, hide them underneath Your wing, and help them to see the enemy before the enemy sees them. Grant them knowledge, understanding of that knowledge, and the wisdom to know what they can and cannot do with this knowledge.

LORD, I pray You keep all of them safe and whole: Spiritually, Physically, Emotionally and Mentally. Bring them home safe and help them to make the transition easier than the last time.

God, I thank You for caring so much for their loved ones left behind. Raise them up above all this dissent and any troubles they may face. I thank You for putting these great ideas into their heads so that we can also help our countrymen and women while they are so far from home. Lift up their wives, husbands, children, parents, friends and other loved ones. Keep them at Your Peace.

Help us all to remember that America is a unique country where we do not know war as the rest of the world does. It is a normal way of life for many, and I thank You that this is not the case here.

You have created for us a unique and beautiful country. You have also commanded us to take good care of it. LORD, there is an awful oil spill off the shore of the Gulf of Mexico. Please use Your Power to stop the spread of this oil from the wetlands, from the fish, from the birds, from the turtles and dolphins, all of which You have created.

I know the fault lies with us, but I beg You, O LORD, please seperate the oil from the land. You are Powerful and Wonderful, O LORD, You have created this land and the oceans, and You are able. Thank You.

I praise You for all the men and women who have come home safely. Please attend to those who need Your tender loving touch to readjust to home life. Yes, please attend to everyone! Especially the families who have missed them so much but had to manage everything without them. It is hard to readjust to having someone just walk in and take over, if they do.

You know the needs of everyone, and I pray they are all met. I do not want to forget our wounded warriors. Please comfort them and their families, friends and loved ones (if they're not married yet). Bless them and thank them for all of us who support and thank them for their sacrifices for protecting our God-given Liberty. Heal them, O my LORD. You are the One that can. Be their Physician, their therapist, and I pray they know You and You know them.

Answer their prayers as long as they don't pray to die. There is too much death. Help them to get over any guilt they are suffering. They did it for their families, for America, and me. God, please bless them forever and ever. In Jesus' precious name I pray. AMEN.

Remember Neda: Where Are You NOW?

This is a very sad day and shame should brought upon this Administration. Yesterday, Iran was appointed to the Womens Rights Commission. Say what? It is true. The US did not utter a peep in protest, but the Iranian women have. I guess they are braver than Obama? I have lost all respect.

How can tell me that this man gives a damn when he has allowed this to occur? Where is NOW? Not a word. You think Iran is just like America? WATCH THIS VIDEO THEN.

Here is the link in case the video doesn't work.

I hope to God that someone comes to their senses and stops this nonsense. I want the UN gone. Destroyed as far as no more money from the USA (26%!) and no longer in existence. Dissolved is the word I was looking for.

Please remember the woman, Neda, who was gunned down by the Iranian govt just for asking for democracy. All she wanted was freedom. Something you seem to take for granted, and you pay no attention to others who have none. Liberty is God's plan. Marxism is the plan of evil men. Dictatorship is also evil. Please, raise up your voices in unity with the women in Iran!

I will NOT live under the orders of any other country than that of AMERICA. God bless her and Keep her.

Go to #iranelection and let them know you stand with them in spirit, since you cannot be there. Find out where there is going to be a protest in your area, and SHOW UP. This makes me very angry. The dinosaur media gave it maybe 2 seconds, while they gave those 16 words that President George W. Bush spoke TRUTHFULLY in his address to the nation months. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?

I'm not saying they shouldn't have covered what Bush had said. Although I agree that he spoke he the truth, he certainly didn't have a very good way of standing up for whatever he said. But that's a-whole-nother story...

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again. Digg! Digg!

One Man's POV On Obama's HealthScare

Yesterday night President Obama gave a tired old speech about what he considers a health care insurance 'crisis'. (Isn't everything with these peeps?) The only thing I found to be new was lip-service to malpractice insurance. It was boring, it was full of lies, and it was insulting to at least half of America.

Liars are we? I was happy when CONGRESSMAN JOE WILSON of South Carolina called him to task when Obama did lie. He did apologize, but he also energized both the Left, the Right, and most people in between! Please donate today! The Leftist Marxists are collecting on what happened, let's outdo them. ;)

A friend of mine wrote about this event (speech) today as well. I will share some of it with you, and then you can decide if you choose to continue reading his article.
Obama lied, his credibility died.
By J. Matt Barber.

On Wednesday night President Obama threw a universal healthcare Hail Mary. The call? Incomplete pass.

His much anticipated address to a joint session of Congress promised to finally — for real, this time — provide details about his "healthcare reform plan" (the government takeover of about 20 percent of America's once free market).

Instead, the President regurgitated the same worn-out talking points, tired platitudes and baseless rhetoric he's been spouting for months, generating more confusion than clarity.

As his approval ratings sink faster than an Olds off the bridge Chappaquiddick, the speech-giver-in-chief's latest lecture was a transparently desperate attempt to salvage his signature issue and, by extension, the very presidency he's wagered on it. He even went so far as to breathlessly suggest this time that a failure to implement his governmental healthcare scheme means that "more Americans will die." It was embarrassing.

This was Obama's umpteenth healthcare homily amid an average of more than one speech per day since he's taken office. True, it's better he should run his mouth than actually attempt to govern, but, nonetheless, it's become annoying that he continues to stubbornly refuse America's, "Not only no but h--- no," answer to his persistent "pretty please."

"I am not the first president to take up this cause, but I am determined to be the last," he proclaimed. To that end he may succeed. Indeed, in light of America's boisterous rejection of his socialist vision, future presidents may avoid — like Harry Reid avoids Nevada — the polarizing issue altogether.

As for the speech: I'll leave it to other pundits to tackle the President's arrogantly partisan, condescending and less-than-convincing Windy City tough-guy tone. Instead, I want to address — at the risk of being "called out" by chief thug, Rahm Emanuel (scary, I know) — the fact that Obama, with a straight face, repeatedly lied to the American people (the teleprompter made him do it). I was reminded of my eight year-old, standing before me with chocolaty crumb covered cheeks, saying, "Cookie? What cookie?" [Continue reading Renew America.]
It gets better. Truly. Well, then again, I guess that would depend on if you are still able to do a little critical thinking for yourself. I am so grateful I am able to do so. Have a great night everyone. Don't forget, tomorrow is September 11, 2009. Even though the Left may desire to turn it into Service Day, do not allow this to upset you. We remember...

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

A Tribute To Our Heroes

While we are fighting the good fight against Congress and the president, we must never forget those who are far away from home fighting the good fight for our very lives. It is to them this tribute is sent.

China: Protests? What Protests?

Below you will find an article written by Radio Free Asia. This is the time of year they and we remember Tiananmen Square, 1989, when the Chinese government told its army to roll its tanks over the people, and they did so. What is it they were demanding of China? Freedom. Funny thing, ya know. Some people say others can't handle it while sit in the majority of our country and try to take it away from us! It will be a cold day in hell...

(Go to www.rfa.org/english/news/special/june4/ for news, essays, and never before released videos and photos of the 1989 protests.)

Paint-Throwing at Mao’s Portrait Born of Frustration, 1989 Protester Says.

WASHINGTON—China has developed tremendously over the last two decades, but “in terms of political and democratic reforms” the system is unchanged, one of three men jailed for splattering paint on Chairman Mao Zedong’s portrait during the 1989 Tiananmen protests has told Radio Free Asia (RFA).

Yu Zhijian, who along with fellow paint-thrower Yu Dongyue was just granted U.S. asylum, described their high-profile May 23, 1989 act of vandalism as a product of frustration directed at the Chinese authorities and prompted by the failure of protest leaders to devise a response when Beijing declared martial law.

“Before we resorted to the violent behavior, we tried to communicate to the student leaders our assessment of the situation,” Yu Zhijian told RFA’s Mandarin service in his first interview since arriving in the United States in mid-May.

“We felt, as participants in the movement, that there should have been a plan in response to the martial law.”

“The day after we arrived in Beijing, we joined the crowd that tried to block the PLA [People’s Liberation Army] vehicles from entering the city. We talked to the students and ordinary citizens. I felt that they didn’t know where the movement was headed,” he said.

“As there wasn’t to be a ‘triumphant withdrawal,’ the leaders of the movement should have come up with relatively decisive responses. So we proposed three suggestions,” he said, including a nationwide strike and a takeover of several key buildings.

But on May 21, “when we brought our three suggestions to the Square we didn’t see any student leaders. So we gave our proposal to someone whose job was to maintain order at the Square…After that, the movement wasn’t headed in the direction that we had hoped,” he said.

Turned over to police.

And two days later, “We decided to smear Mao’s portrait with eggs containing paint. In our view, the rule by the Chinese Communists from 1949-89 was a Maoist dictatorship,” Yu said.

“The portrait of Mao Zedong symbolized the dictatorship of the Chinese Communist Party. We had hoped that our action would lead the participants of the movement to change course and bring the movement back from the brink of failure.”

The two childhood friends—along with a bus driver named Lu Decheng—hurled 30 eggs filled with paint at the portrait and were quickly seized by student protesters eager to distance themselves from the act and handed over to police.

Less than two weeks later, Chinese troops moved in on the protests with tanks and live ammunition, killing hundreds of people and prompting an international outcry. An official blackout on discussion of the crackdown remains in force, 20 years later.

“China has witnessed huge changes in the past 20 years. But in terms of political and democratic reforms, it is where it was 20 years ago. There has been no change whatsoever,” he said.

Mental health damaged.

Yu Dongyue¸ a former journalist and art critic, was convicted of sabotage and counter-revolutionary propaganda and handed a 20-year jail term. Lu received a 16-year jail term, and Yu Zhijian, a former teacher, drew a life sentence.

Lu and Yu Zhijian were paroled in 1998 but Yu Dongyue remained in custody because, officials said, he had never confessed to any wrongdoing. His sentence was cut by two years in 2000 and another 15 months in 2003.

Yu Dongyue is the longest-serving known political prisoner sentenced in connection with the 1989 crackdown. He spent several years in solitary confinement and was subjected to beatings and electric shocks, and friends and relatives say his mental health has suffered severely.

During an interview here, Yu Dongyue appeared vacant. He spoke haltingly and was unable to answer direct questions.

“As you can see, his mental condition is awful, just awful,” Yu Zhijian said. “Yu Dongyue spent 17 years in prison. When he was released he was a shadow of his former self. My heart ached when I saw him.”

Lu was granted asylum in Canada in 2006. Yu Dongyue and Yu Zhijian fled China through Thailand and were granted U.S. asylum last month.

Neither man would discuss the route they took to escape China, but Yu Zhijian notably cited Chinese-born human rights activist Harry Wu and his Laogai Foundation, for their assistance.

Asked how he regarded the 20th anniversary on Thursday of the June 4, 1989 crackdown, he replied:

“My heart is heavy with memories of June 4th. These memories will never be erased from my mind. It is a topic that pains me to bring up, especially when the June 4th anniversary is upon us. I am unable to sleep or eat. My mind is in turmoil. The movement 20 years ago was a noble one and it changed our lives.”

“The participants were not limited to university students. The general public—in the millions—also took part in it. In our hometown in Hunan, even the peasants stopped working in the fields. They were glued to the television. They were inspired by the patriotism and democratic spirit of the students.”

I have been writing about the Islam fascists for many years now, but I believe this Mother carries a message better than I am able. Listen to her words, try to understand the betrayal she is enduring, and then decide which side of the issue (as if there is a side) you belong.

Cavuto - Cole Victim's Mother Declines Obama Invitation.
God bless you, Diane, for your sacrifice to our country. I pray this embarrassing decision is corrected pronto. Be strong, you are not alone.

Political, Milblog News Roundup: 31 Oct 08

Due to the overload of news that I have, I am going to share all of them with you in one post. This will also help me empty my inbox from when my computer was down for 5 days. I hope you don't mind. ;)

Obama Speechwriter Switches to McCain; Ignored by MSM. This nice tidbit was sent to me by Rurik. I hope it is self-explanatory, and it is posted at NewsBusters. Thanks hon!

Grassroots Pressure Moves CNN to Apologize. Do you remember when Byron York said all those nasty about Sarah Palin? Well, Media Research Center put out an action alert, and it appears to have worked. CNN finally apologized for something right away! I guess they've learned their lesson about not responding to bloggers. Remember Eason? lol.

Real Hope. This is wonderful article written by Jack Lewis in which he encapsulates the true meaning of "HOPE".

Obama and the Law, written by Tom Sowell. Do you want more Ruth Bader Ginsburg's on the Supreme Court? Do you want judges that will start deciding for (against, actually) you what ONLY the LEGISLATURE has the power to instill because they are answerable to us? Read this great article.

Obama: Fundamental Change? Count on It, written by David Limbaugh. He shares the same concerns I have about our Liberties if Obama were to win.

Hat tip: National Black Republican Association.

Faustas blog - PUMA Betty Jean Kling. You can listen to this over at BlogTalkRadio if you have iTunes. If you do not, you can get it free. I did.

PUMA is a group of Democrats that are standing up for McCain/Palin. It is a good show.

Video game dispute underscores Muslim divide, written by David Rusin at Islamist Watch. Another post about the same topic can be found here by the IPT Blog. Another article by Patrick Poole titled, 'The Third Jihad will make Cultural Islamists Squirm, is well worth reading. As a matter of fact, it is mandatory! (Almost. I won't make you. Only because I can't. lol)

Hat tip: American Islamic Foundation for Democracy (M. Zuhdi Jasser).

A Little Ragin' Cajun To Dance To. Hat tip: Rurik and Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler.

Joe The Plumber's Family Decry Attacks! You can listen using that link. You may read about the abuse at The Sacramento Union, and Mark William's site is MarkTalk.com. Hat tip: Our Country Deserves Better PAC.

Obama Is A Rat Bastard Commie, by Grouchy Old Cripple. He's a hoot...except when you get under his skin! lol.

Would you like to help our Troops? Let me tell you about a site where I purchase some T-shirts and other things, but first let me introduce you to them. Here is a little bit about who they are and what they do:
Ranger Up launched on 8 September 2006. We make shirts for the military and the patriotic Americans who love the men and women of the Armed Forces. The guys that own this company either were or are still in the military.

What Ranger Up Stands For:

1. AMERICA. Nothing like her anywhere, anytime, in the history of the world.

2. Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coastguardsmen, Firemen, and Police Officers. Basically, the crazy SOBs that put their lives on the line every day for less pay than they deserve so that we Americans can sit in front of our plasma televisions and watch crappy reality TV shows, drive nice cars, eat great food, and generally not have to worry about anything of substance.

3. Veterans. From George Washington to the newest recruit and everyone in between – Thank You.

4. Patriots. We’re talking about the people that believe the Fourth of July is more than just an excuse to set off fireworks, that flying the American Flag all year long is a civic duty, that taking the time to send letters to our troops is an honor, and who realize that America wasn’t forged on the backs of journalists, politicians, or campus rallies, but rather through the suffering and discipline of steely-eyed men who refused to accept defeat.

5. Dogs. Never trust anyone that doesn’t like dogs. They’re loyal. They’d die for you, and all they want in return is some dried food, some petting, and the occasional piece of bacon.

6. Reversing the growing oppression of the proletariat in today’s society. We…uhhh…think this is a good idea.

7. Hot chicks. Honestly, aren’t they the reason we do anything?
That last one makes me chuckle, because they do not consider the country of France when they refer to French women. lol. They have a really cool shop which I buy many things from. I'll let you in on it.

Unapologetically American: Hoodie. $45 unless you use this coupon code: HOODIE for 20% off until November 1, 2008. The Unapologetically American Long Sleeve T is only $25! Really, go check out their store and give our guys a big thumbs up.

Now it's time to appeal to your good nature. I have loved working with the Vets For Freedom, and I hope you will too.
Dear Vets for Freedom PAC members:

Today, we launched seven radio ad buys in key congressional districts throughout the United States aimed at supporting pro-victory veterans—six Republicans and one Democrat—who are running for Congress.

These radio ads will be running through Election Day in half a dozen states, supporting some of the finest candidates, and fellow veterans, running for Congress.

CLICK HERE to listen to the radio ads.

And CLICK HERE TO DONATE to keep them on the air.
Ads will be running for the following endorsed candidates:
  • Jim Marshall (GA-8) -- Democratic Congressman Jim Marshall is a highly decorated Army veteran of Vietnam who is inducted in US Army Ranger Hall of Fame. Congressman Marshall is one of the few Democrats who stood behind General David Petraeus’ strategy in Iraq in 2007 and 2008, even when it was politically unpopular.
  • Allen West (FL-22) -- Colonel Allen West served with distinction in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, earning a Bronze Star, three Meritorious Service Medals, three Army Commendation Medals (one with Valor), and a Valorous Unit Award. Colonel West symbolizes today’s warrior class.
  • Tom Manion (PA-8) -- Tom Manion is a former Colonel who served with distinction for 30 years in the United States Marine Corps, was successful business executive, and is now Gold Star Parent whose son Travis was killed in Iraq. Tom and his family represent all that is great about America -- he is a true American patriot.
  • Charlie Summers (ME-1) -- Charlie served with distinction in the Pentagon as a member of the U.S. Navy Reserve in the uncertain days following 9/11. Duty called once again in May 2007 when he left Maine for Baghdad, serving nine months on Active Duty as a Lieutenant Commander.
  • Tom Rooney (FL-16) -- Tom served as an Army JAG for four years before teaching Constitutional and Criminal Law at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
  • Steve Stivers (OH-15) -- Steve is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army National Guard who was awarded the Bronze Star for actions in Iraq.
  • Chris Myers (NJ-3) -- Chris is a highly decorated Navy veteran of the first Gulf War, proudly serving as a communications officer, anti-air warfare officer, and operations officer on the USS Bunker Hill.

CLICK HERE TO DONATE and help us run even more ads for these candidtes.
VFFPAC will continue to champion the cause of victory in the Global War on Terror, a cause that too many of our elected leaders have abandoned. Over the coming 2 weeks, we will mobilize our volunteer force of VFFPAC members to support those who support victory on the battlefield. As part of this effort, VFFPAC has hired field staffers in Nevada, Missouri, Ohio, Virginia and Florida. Their sole mission -- help turn out the veteran vote to ensure support for pro--victory candidates. With your continued support we will continue to fight the good fight here on the home front, while our fellow troops continue to achieve success overseas. As long as American’s warriors are deployed in harm’s way, you can be sure that VFFPAC will fight for them here. Move Out and Draw Fire, Pete Hegseth Chairman, Vets for Freedom PAC.

I have another post from Vets For Freedom, and you will really like it. It has two new ads in it, and they are powerful. The first one is named Stop the Smears and the second one is I Was There, and the surge worked. Click here to sign our petition - Stop the Smears and Support our Troops. Yes indeed. If you can, please donate to LTC William Russell also. He is running against Murtha, and he was in Iraq. Next I have a very sad announcement. I received this news from JP of www.Milblogging.com. I would like to ask all of you for your prayers for the family and friends of blogger Army Specialist Stephen Fortunato. He was killed in action mid-October. He was a member of the 26th Infintry Regiment, and he had been on leave for 19 days before he killed by an IED upon his first back in Afghanistan. There is an article in the Boston Herald, and the Boston Globe printed one of his blog entries. His Mother offered it to them. God bless you all, and thank you for giving your all so I may remain free. Boy, I'll tell ya, I don't know if it makes me feel like the rest that I've written is useless or that I should do more in his honor. Wow. I really don't know. I believe this more than enough for now. After that last one, I think I should end with that. Please remember to pray. The more I write, the more news I have coming in. Will I ever get caught up? I guess that will be second post. Have a good night. May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again. Cross-posted @ Rosemary's News and Ideas. Digg! Frontpage Magazine covers the memorial debacle

FrontPage managing editor Jamie Glazov interviews Alec Rawls in this week's FrontPage Interview. Mr. Rawls takes this opportunity to lay out the basic facts for a new set of readers:
1. The giant crescent (originally called the Crescent of Embrace) points to Mecca.

2. This giant Mecca oriented crescent is STILL THERE in the Circle of Embrace redesign (explicitly described as a broken circle, just as the Crescent of Embrace was).
Punch line:
It’s like gate security catching a terrorist with a bomb and telling him to go back outside and see if he can hide it better the second time. All [architect Paul Murdoch] did was add some completely irrelevant disguises.
Please give FrontPage a visit, and if you haven't bookmarked them already, the site is well worth your time.

Frontpage founder David Horowitz has been exposing the far left's takeover of the Democrat mainstream since the 1980's, and since 2001 has extended his Discover the Networks approach to our Islamofascist enemies. If you are drawn to the sound of the guns, FrontPage is on the frontlines of both the culture-war and terror-war battles for accurate information.

Flight 93 Blogburst: 5.22.08

Blogburst logo, petition
Radio talk show host Mancow Muller is asking his listeners to help SHUT DOWN the crescent memorial to Flight 93. (Audio 27 seconds.) Mancow describes how the giant crescent points to Mecca, and how the four terrorists are consistently placed in the symbolic Islamic heavens (the crescent and star parts of the design), while the 40 heroes are consistently depicted as symbolically damned (placed outside of the symbolic Islamic heavens). Good stuff (1 min, 21 sec).

"You have to see it to understand..." says the pro-war libertarian host, directing his listeners to CrescentOfBetrayal.com where they can find pictures like this (a familiar sight for our blogburst readers):
40 tortured souls, 60%
The Tower of Voices. 40 symbolic souls, literally dangling down below an Islamic shaped crescent, soaring in the sky overhead. Using Islamic symbol shapes invites an Islamic interpretation, and in Islam if you don't go to heaven, you go to hell (the fate of ALL unbelievers). Forty symbolic souls, never to rest in peace, going for eternity in their symbolic Islamic damnation.

Mancow on civil disobedience

Congressman Tancredo was scheduled to come on Tuesday's show, but got stuck in a hearing. Near the end of the show, Mancow says Tancredo will be rescheduled, then he lays it on the line. He thinks his show and his listeners have the power stop this atrocity from being built, but if the crescent memorial does get built, he is going to take a sledgehammer to it. They can send him to jail. At that point it won't matter. There are limits to what Americans should stand by and take. (1 min, 21 sec).

Last week's show was good too, with segments from Tom Burnett Sr. (45 sec) and Alec Rawls (2 min, 49 sec). (Alec also did an hour long interview with Tracy at No Compromise blog radio last week. To listen, scroll down to May 15th.)

Robert Spencer

An unexpected extra came in the middle of Tuesday's show when Robert Spencer was on to talk about Islam. Mancow asked what Spencer thought about this memorial controversy and Robert stepped up with another piece of the expose, pointing out that the 9/11 date is to be placed on the center line of the giant crescent, in exactly the position of the star on an Islamic crescent and star flag. (43 seconds.) Exactly right. The date goes to the star on the Islamic flag. The date goes to the terrorists. Graphical proof here ("Terrorist memorializing feature #1"). With the difficulty of getting just the Mecca orientation across, the discussion almost never reaches these other explosive details. How does Mr. Spencer find the time to be so knowledgeable about so many things? You da MAN Robert!

Pilgrimage to Somerset

When Mancow is able to reschedule the two Tom's, Tom Burnett says he is going to urge listeners who want to visit the memorial to plan for the weekend of August 2nd, when the Memorial Project is scheduled to have its next public meeting. Then they can help protest the crescent design, and anyone can sign up to speak during the public comment period. Maybe we can even get Mancow to make the pilgrimage, and if Congressman Tancredo will call for a Congressional investigation, we just might be able to ram the food cart through the cockpit door. Just do it baby. Let's roll.

Flight 93 Blogburst 5.4.2008

Crescent controversy on Fox News television and Fox News front page!

Fox News front page snapshot, 5-4-08, 45%Check out the Fox News front page today, where "Crescent Outrage" alternates top billing with "Six-Legged Soldiers!" Finally, more than a handful of Americans will at least know that there is a controversy over the Flight 93 memorial.

They won't get much more than that from Fox's text report, which is pretty bare. There is no mention of the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent, no mention of the 44 inscribed translucent blocks on the flight path, no mention of the Islamic sundial, and no fact checking (the modern media disease). Still, this is big.

The text report DOES show the side-by-side comparison of the Crescent of Embrace and the Islamic crescent and star insignia. It also reports Tom Burnett's condemnation of the crescent design as an insult to his murdered son, and it mentions our petition.

UPDATE: Red Lasso has the Fox News video clip (thanks to Avid Editor).

This is powerful stuff. Not only do they show the clear likeness between the original design and an Islamic crescent and star flag, but the image they show of the redesign shows pretty clearly how the giant crescent remains intact in the redesign:

Fox News, Bowl of EmbraceFrom the crescent and star likeness, they cut to Tom Burnett, asking what people would think if a memorial were laid out in the shape of a swastika. If viewers hadn't just seen the crescent and star likeness, that statement could be made to sound crazy, but Fox does right by Tom, giving viewers the information they need to see the reasonableness of the comparison. Many thanks to Fox for getting this right.

Fox has a lot more information at their disposal. They had a television crew at the Somerset County Courthouse yesterday where Colonel Harry Beam laid out a precise and devastating exposé of Islamic and terrorist memorializing design features, and they were sent extensive fact checking materials. None of this gets into their present reporting. If they put that material into an investigative feature, they can knock the crescent memorial out for good. Watch it to understand the threat to our homeland.

UPDATE II: Avid Editor found another completely different Fox News segment on Red Lasso. This one is even better, mentioning the Mecca orientation of the giant crescent! To view this video at Alec's Error Theory or Cao's Blog. Thank you.
